Light up the Darkness

Behavior is not character, but sooner or later, behavior will inevitably reveal character.  So ask yourself what is character?  What am I really about in my life?  And does my behavior (actions) express it.  Be you.

be in the moment - true committment

Real commitment is not forever. Real commitment is Right Now.  If you are truly committed right now, during this moment, forever will take care of itself. To be able to truly be committed to anything is part of the process of being truly and fully alive and awake. 

Be Your Authentic Self

Be yourself.  Begin to look into the depth of you.  Explore the inner mystery. 

Go beyond the cultural you; beyond the trained you; beyond the ‘cool’ you; beyond the you that is in an act.

Become authentic.  Such courage is rare in human experience.  Become exceptional simply by becoming your true self.

silver linings

Every cloud has a silver lining.  You have to understand the cloud and deal with it, but it’s the silver lining that’s worth having.  Find it.  Embrace it.

Smile

Take a minute today to smile.  Amongst the frantic chaos we witness in our day to day lives, it is never a bad thing to smile.  We have more to be thankful for than we often take the time to realize.  

Embrace the journey ahead - it will undoubtedly be a rocky one, but we have all the tools to navigate the path with integrity and grace.  Love.

Time to start waking up differently

The Lightworkers

This came through a meditation a few nights ago and I wanted to share it - It is truly inspirational and shares a story of past, present and future of what John has called The Lightworkers.  Please comment if you are inspired.

The Lightworkers

“And the light, knowing only the joy of pure being loved that they had glimpsed its secret

And when the light asked for volunteers to travel the shadowlands in order to seed its way they stepped forward hearts in unison strength and courage 

Knowing that the journey would test them and their love but understanding too the deepening wisdom and awareness they would gain 

The unblemished view from the purity of the light would be veiled from them for a time as the keepers of the shadowlands tried to resist the coming of the light 

And yet this was their devotion and that of their many companions 

The contrast awakening a deeper experience of the joy of the pure flow of the light 

With each effort and step the veils would drop one by one revealing deeper truth

Expanding into the infinite cosmic simplicity of the one 

They were many yet the creator had spread them like stardust across the shadowlands 

They loved finding each other and as they did their collective light grew 

THEIR SOULS WERE THE MAP OF THE WAY

THEIR HEARTS THE TOOL OF THE AWAKENING

THEIR MINDS THE CHALLENGING VEHICLE OF INTERACTION WITH THE SHADOW AND ITS DENSITY 

More and more in the light of pure being their minds lightened to serve the ways of heart and soul 

And as they did the pathway widened making it easier for those choosing to awaken 

What was to come they were not sure and oddly as it mattered less to them they came closer to seeing that in the core love flow there was no impatience or desperation”
